The Red Panda is another adorable vulnerable species out there. It’s a little arboreal creature that is native to Eastern Himalayas and Southwestern China. It’s been classified as endangered by the IUCN, and its estimated population stands bellow 10,000. Even though the Red pandas are protected by the national laws in their range countries, the population of this gorgeous species continues to decline since they’re threatened by habitat loss, poaching, fragmentation and inbreeding depression. As you can see in the image, the Red Panda is a little bigger than the domestic cat, has a long and shaggy tail, and has reddish-brownish colored fur. Shortly after waking up, the little Red Pandas clean their fur, just like cats, and rub their torsos, backs, and sides.
