The Queen’s Cup of Tea
This darling dog, bedecked in a snuggly suit has certainly taken our fancy! It’s no wonder that the Welsh Corgi is the Queen of England’s favorite breed. Just look at that face! Loyal, noble and sweet, Corgis are an exceptional breed and it goes without saying that they’re exceptionally cute, too. We could just squeeze this little guy all day!
The Welsh Corgi was primarily used as a farmer’s helper, rounding up herds of sheep and ponies, before being adopted into the English monarchy. There are two different types of Corgis – Cardigan and Pembroke – with numerous subtle differences between them, each named for the region of Wales from which they hail. With a gorgeous coat that is glossy and fluffy, these guys are like a soft microfleece blanket, perfect for cuddling. They’re great with kids and cute to boot, what more could you possibly want in a pet?
